The Royal Hearts' Binding

On a sunny spring day in April
There she was a maiden casting a spell
With unabashed beauty and smiling in glory
Surely a fairytale scene, a mystical story…

The glow on her face lit up his face.
He stood there capturing the moment in some daze
“You look beautiful”, said he, savoring her presence.
Made for each other, their union a sweet essence.
Hand in hand they recited the vows that bind
Lost in each other’s eyes- a moment so pure to find.
Her languid steps towards the chapel
Where he waited-smiling and stable
To take vows of being together
Till eternity- in good and bad weather.
As their union was sealed in love
Wishing that they be together through every high and low!

Magic of Togetherness

Untold and uncared lies a thought
deep down my heart
From where your memories
refuse to depart.
Lying in the silent macabre,
Following my gaze are my thoughts
Willow of a bygone age.
The pristine touch of a divine being
Irreplaceable scent of the darkened lilies that bloomed
Lingering around in a hypnotizing whirl.
How it would be to feel the raindrops on our close knit hands
On our eagerly fluttering eyelashes
I wonder how the magic would be cast from up above
The grueling pain of being apart wiped by the drops of heavenly nectar…

THUNDEROUS CALM

There's a storm rising in the mind so silent
Laments all crushed beneath the curving smile
Flashes of the past replaying one after the other
Some pausing for long, some vanishing like the thunder.
Shudders run through the veins, claiming the calmness.
Mysterious million moments wrapped and kept away
seem to have caught the light of the day,
Gazing back through their dark secret hideaway.
The daylight turning into a fiery red
suddenly blinding the visions and dreams.
Choking the gasps of the helpless being
is the gory untamed clutch
of the nameless brutal agonizer.
Creepy branches of a forlorn tree
lost in the mystery of the blinding red
Sharing the puzzling traumatic gaze...
Looking at each other we share
a moment when all emotions lay bare
Crowds buzzed past us unaware of the storm
that somehow held us together yet so apart.
Distanced by them, we stood..locked in a gaze.
The moments ticked by, fixing us in a strange daze...

Past perfect, Present tense!!

Dark dreadful deadly blood that flows
Through the slashed wound that glows
Pain numbed by the piercing past
In vain I try not to make them last.

The lingering 'smell' of the incense sticks
Your laughter amidst the morning bliss
The sunshine could never replace your smile
Even after you decided to walk away that mile

As the raindrops lash on the rooftop
I close my eyes,and that's when up again you pop
Little snapshots of a dream that got imbibed
Now pierce the heart, the entwined memories.

On the chilled floor bed of the winter night
When tears often blind my sight
That's when the framed picture on the wall
Makes me smile, in-spite of the hurting hours...

I miss you achacha.......

A solitude left behind with countless memories...

A warm hug when I am lost in a crowd
Days went by.. Smiles refused to leave.
Your love got etched into my heart
Each moment spent with you
May our souls never depart.
Cradled by love, the dreams so pure
Light the memory of bliss so sweet.
Lost in the canopy of a mysterious forest
You like the sun beam- “the bright hope.”

Years later –
That angelic voice surrounds me always.
Where did I lose you my dear?

And she says to her daughter-
So what if papa left us alone?
So what if mumma has to face the world alone..?
Love is with us dear sweety..
We can sail through it all
Reason behind my smile- you pretty princess
Smile so sparkling..it makes my day!

But he’s gone forever baby..

Which went away with pa..
Leaving a sweet sweet part of him with me

A million memories he left behind
My best friend… Where can I find him?

Slideshow all over again...

Moments short captured so many
Pouring them slowly over the mantelpiece
Flashing one after the other are they-
The scenes that bind my life together.

Like a silver lining upon the cloud,
It brought a smile on my face.
Momentous longing to have those days back
And then my heartbeats raise their pace...

Imprints by the waves of time..

The waves of time wash the events once again..

Wait oh wait... I still haven’t let them imprint on me.

Coming with a fearful speed, it will claim all.

And before I could save it, the waves took it away.

I stand with my eyes fixed onto the place

Where once it was-

The proof of my existence, the product of my dreams

All that remains of it are illusionary sand pebbles.

The waves rush back… again in a frenzy

This time claiming the vestiges of my gem.

It fought with it for quite a while

The mightier one won again

And so gone were the sand pebbles too.

Still standing, watching into the horizon

The sunset turning into another sunrise

The waves cast a magic spell,

They washed away the vestiges of a broken gem

Returning with an imprint to last forever!

Old pieces of a broken puzzle
how odd that they finally set in
together they formed an art piece
to last forever to thee i pray..

Strangers on different roads
while crossing paths they met
filling each other's voids
and a journey together was set.

Warmth on a wintry morning
that is 'you' to me....
stable mind on a stormy day
that's your gift to me.

Sharing moments of joy
all i ask for is 'you'
relations -not a play toy
may it forever remain new.. !

Love is all i have...

In every dream that I see tonight

I wanna have you by my side

longingly I stretch my arms

to find you near my soul

With the darkness all around

I stand with your memories

and i am no longer alone.

Like a breeze you sway around me..

Your sweet breath upon my face

and I lose all my pains somewhere
